Stitches

Small Surgical Shop/Misa Gilmore, Owner/Strong Bias Against Trolls

If you wind up in Stitches, you have definitely screwed up somewhere along the line.  Stitches is dirty, rat infested, germ laden, repulsive, nasty, ugly and there aren't any decent magazines in the waiting room.  The up side: It's really, really cheap.  Perhaps a bit too cheap.  Definitely too cheap.  Because when you have someone offering you medical services at below cost, you have to wonder where they're getting their medical supplies.

Misa Gilmore

Archetype: Human Doctor

A repulsive, smelly, toothless woman, Misa graduated from a small medical college in Grenada, and was immediately asked to leave the island.  Some believe they allowed her to graduate simply to get her off the island.   In any case, Misa is a miserable money miser which is the primary reason she hates trolls ("You gotta use more supplies and whatnot on 'em").  Misa smokes while doing surgery, sleeps in the clinic bathroom and often drinks herself into white trash oblivion at the local Super Low Class Drink N' Puke.

Don's Doctoring

Small Surgical Shop/Donald Bellman, Owner/Strong Bias Against Cybered Persons

Don's Doctoring is well liked – and simultaneously disliked – for working exclusively on noncybered patients.  It is also well known that magicians can go to Don's to receive the extra delicate care their systems require.  The fees at Don's are rather high, but considering the amount of time he spends with each individual patient, the hour for hour rate of care calculates out to be rather low.

Don The Doc

Archetype: Dwarf Doctor

A graduate of Harvard Medical, Don turned to street medicine after he was saved from a Street Sam instigated death by a homeless man (who was subsequently executed by the Sammy).  His Sammy experience has left behind a strong distaste for cybernetically enhanced persons, a bias that may eventually get him killed if he continues to turn away injured people of that type.  A somber individual with graying hair and a long white beard, Don will often help out injured squatters for free.
