The Renegade Transport is a down scaled version of the popular Renegade APC in service with security forces and mercenaries world wide. The Renegade Transport drops most of the APC’s armor and all of the weapons and countermeasures, thus making it street legal in most municipalities. Still, this imposing vehicle offers unparalleled modifiability, making it a favorite among riggers with a few thousand nuyen to spare.  The primary selling point is it's remarkably speed and and handling for a vehicle of its size.  This is achieved through the use of two engines, one for each axle.  In the event that one engine is hit, the vehicle can still run at half strength.  This required the sacrifice of much of the original model's armor.
